Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is famous for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16 she portrayed the lead part in a variety of TV dramas. The audience was impressed by her role in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Over the years Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions. Among others, these projects include British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as many other. Other roles she has held include being juror at both The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
